Project Description
Nasal Spray Filling, Valve Inserting and Screw-Capping Monoblock for non-prescription medicines in small bottles at 180 units per minute.
What was Client's need?
Mengibar was asked to design a Non Sterile Monoblock (including laminar flow hood) tu run small containers with a dosing accuracy above to any other Filling Machine available in the market in small doses.
Customer also required a flexible machine, capable to run with different bottles, plugs, sprays, screw-caps and over caps with minimal machine stand still.
How did Mengibar solve it?
Mengibar ‘Smart Flow Control’ and ‘Enhanced Accuracy’ were the key to succeed. Standard deviation (sigma) of 0,03 grams from the first bottle to the last of one, including microstops.
Concerning the change over, machine was free of adjustable elements. On large conveyor guides an automated system was included to accomodate the guides in height and width with accuracy.
The rest of elements are standard in any Mengibar equipment.
