Complete ATEX Rated line for Stick Deodorants and Antiperspirants at 250 upm. The complete scope manufactured by Mengibar includes:
- Automate Bottle Sorting and Inserting into Pucks.
- Filling (Hot).
- Cooling.
- Capping.
- De-pucking and Canister Inverting.
- Automated Puck management system.
The Challenge
The project required a solution that could manage two distinct product types—stick deodorants and antiperspirants—without contamination risk. The nature of these products made it critical to use separate filling systems to ensure that they never come into contact. The client also needed the line to support seven different packaging formats with minimal downtime during changeovers, and the speed of production had to meet the demand for 250 units per minute.

In response to the demand for a versatile, high-speed line for stick deodorant and antiperspirant products, we developed a fully automated solution equipped with two dedicated rotary fillers. This configuration is essential for handling two distinct product types that cannot mix due to the risk of contamination. While one filler is in operation, the other can undergo maintenance, ensuring continuous production.
